Business Safety is running the IOSH Managing Safely course in the Radisson Blu hotel, Little Island, Cork towards the end of March.  This 4 day course provides business owners, managers and others the skills they need to manage health and safety in their organisation.

Course content is kept jargon-free and is tailored so as to be relevant without containing bias towards one industry or another.  Our course presenters are highly trained and experienced in managing safety across multiple sectors and bring their knowledge and experience to each session.

The course is focussed on providing you with relevant information with plenty of practical examples on how safety can be managed effectively and with minimal effort, whatever your sector.  There will be opportunities to share your experiences and ask questions amongst the group of attendees which will broaden discussions and bring new perspectives to the topics discussed.

There is a 45 minute exam and a practical exercise to be completed as part of the marking scheme.  Delegates who successfully complete these elements are awarded a Managing Safely Certificate by IOSH.

Emlyn Ó Troighthigh has delivered IOSH training programmes across Ireland and Britain and has presented courses to businesses ranging from the multinational sector to SMEs.  With over 18 years experience in health and safety, Emlyn brings his practical thinking and life experiences to each session and invites participants to help with course exercises and generate discussion based on their own history.  Organisations Emlyn has provided training services to include Opel Ireland, WS Atkins, FLI Environmental, Ballycotton Seafood, SMF Engineering and Millmount Healthcare.

The venue is the Radisson Blu hotel in Little Island, Cork.
